What is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?        A Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) is a Licensed Registered Nurse with specialized education and training in legal matters as they apply to medical issues. These skills assist attorneys with interpretation of the medical record. We help you understand what really happend in the medical setting.  Why hire a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?       A CLNC reviews the medical record and delivers a clear and concise report defining any deviations from the standard of care. In addition we may assist with discovery, network with healthcare providers, research and communicate any ommisions or suspicious tampering with the medical record and deviations from policy. Why a Nurse and not a Doctor?            A CLNC identifies non-meritorious cases quickly, saving you time and money. An MD (when available) provides  limited insight into nursing practice and standards of care at often 3 to 5 times the cost of the CLNC. We provide insight for identifying what really happened in the clinical setting. Can the CLNC give expert testimony? Absolutely, if requested we testify to the adherance or deviation from established standards of care however, this service is established at our first interview. A CLNC works behind the scenes unless otherwise established at first contact. We assists you with  locating experts for testimony. What is the Guaranty? We guarantee your satisfaction and excellent customer service. J. Carroll and Associates will revise any work without charge for any product that does not meet your specifications, given notice of such deficiency within seven days of delivery. What is CLNC certification? CLNC® is the official certification of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. The NACLNC board is comprised of leading legal nurse consultants throughout the country, representing the various roles and settings of the legal nurse consulting profession.  CLNC® certification for registered nurses attests to attainment of specialized knowledge and continuing education in order to practice in this sophisticated and rapidly changing field. |
